How it works

From 60 seconds of singing to your personal anthem

Three steps. Under two minutes total. Here's exactly what happens behind the scenes.

Step 1

Record 60 seconds of singing

Open SongRise and tap record. Sing any song you love. It can be your favorite pop song, a lullaby, a hymn, or something you made up in the shower. It does not matter what you sing.

60 seconds is all it takes. Enough for SongRise to learn how you sound. Your pitch, your tone, the little things that make your voice yours.

Live waveform visualization while you record

You don't need to sound good.

Seriously. Sing off-key. Forget the words. Hum. SongRise captures your voice, not your singing ability. The finished song will be polished.

Step 2

Your voice becomes a song

Once you submit your recording, two things happen simultaneously.

Your Voice

SongRise listens to your recording and learns your vocal fingerprint. Pitch range, timbre, vibrato style, breath patterns. Everything that makes you sound like you.

Your Lyrics

Based on the affirmation themes you selected (confidence, self-love, abundance, etc.), SongRise writes personalized lyrics structured as a real song with verses and a chorus.

Your voice, not a robot.

This is not text-to-speech. It's not a robot reading words. The song is sung in your actual voice, with your vocal characteristics, the way you would sing it.

Step 3

Get a produced affirmation song

SongRise brings it all together: your voice, personalized lyrics, and real musical composition into a fully produced song. Vocals, instruments, production. A real song, not background noise with words.

You get two variations to choose from. Different arrangements, same lyrics and voice. Pick the one that resonates, or keep both.

Rise in Confidence

Your voice. Your anthem.

The science

Why hearing yourself sing affirmations works

This is backed by neuroscience, not wishful thinking. Three mechanisms work together.

1. Self-referential processing

Your brain has a region (the medial prefrontal cortex) specifically activated by self-referential information. When you hear your own voice saying something, this region lights up in ways it doesn't when you hear someone else say the same thing. Your brain treats your own voice as more credible and personally relevant.

2. Bilateral brain activation

Speech primarily activates the left hemisphere. Singing activates both hemispheres simultaneously. When affirmations are sung rather than spoken, they engage more of your brain. Music also triggers the release of dopamine, the same neurotransmitter associated with rewards, motivation, and pleasure.

3. Musical memory traces

You remember song lyrics for decades. That's not an accident. Music creates stronger, more durable memory traces than speech. By embedding your affirmations in music, they become harder for your brain to forget. This is the same mechanism that makes jingles stick in your head.

SongRise combines all three: your voice, singing, and music. That's why it works differently than reading affirmations off a screen or listening to someone else say them.
